Style: CIROC G-Shock Breathalyzer Watch

Sean “Diddy” Combs has successfully transferred his hustle in music to his newest ventures in entrepreneurship. Today, CIROC and Casio’s G-Shock have announced that they will be collaborating on a Breathalyzer Watch. CIROC and Diddy have always been advocates for responsible drinking – hence, the side of the transparent watch will feature a built-in breathalyzer that shows your blood alcohol content on the watch’s face. The watch is set to be featured in three colors – all of which resemble CIROC’s signature color gradient found across its bottles. With brash CIROC branding on the watch mixed with the functionality of a breathlyzer, the collaborative watch will surely be a conversation starter next time you’re out on the town. The CIROC x G-Shock Breathalyzer Watch will be available at select G-Shock retailers starting August 2nd.

Tech: Casio G-Shock 30th Anniversary

Conceptually driven towards durability and functionality, Casio G-Shock has worked on evolving and perfecting those aspects since its inception into the watch world back in 1983. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the brand releases the DW-6930BS-8JR — a rendition of the DW-6900 — that was designed to epitomize the pursuit of toughness. Cast in classic silver metallic paint, the DW-6930BS-8JR uses inverted liquid crystal with a blackened dial to enhance visibility on the face. Other notable specifications include G-Shock’s Shock Structure, 20 BAR water resistance, battery life of around 2 years and all your expected digital functions. The watch also sports a special 30th anniversary logo on the back cover, as well as three marks for additional commemoration and the signature G-Shock seal placed in front. The G-Shock DW-6930BS-8JR can be purchased for ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $150 USD).

Style: KOMONO 2013 Spring/Summer Collection

KOMONO timepieces are undeniably recognizable. The most obvious signpost for the label’s branding is of course its heavy reliance upon bold, all-over print designs. And yet, delving deeper then simply emblazoning each watch with overused motifs, the label stands strong by constantly churning out original and innovative patterns. The latest installment for the label’s MAGNUS PRINT SERIES and WIZARD PRINT SERIES arrive in the form of a new Spring/Summer 2013 range of timepieces. A selection from KOMONO’s 2013 spring/summer collection is now available in their online store here.

Style: Nixon 2012 “Neon Yellow” Collection

Unlike more nuanced timepieces we’ve seen from Nixon in the past, the Fall/Winter 2012 Neon Yellow collection is a bold representation of several updated silhouettes. Comprised of four watches – both digital and traditional – The Time Teller P, The Quad, The Small Lodown, and The Supertide are each presented in an eye-catching colorway that is reminiscent of ’80s and ’90s flare – but with more nuanced faces that fit with current trends. Expect to see the “Neon Yellow” collection at select Nixon stockists in the very near future.
