Following the release of a new batch of screenshots just last month, Rockstar Games presents a trio of new trailers for its highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto V. The new video pieces highlight main characters Michael, Franklin and Trevor – who appear to all meet up at some point in the upcoming release – while also putting the sprawling Los Angeles-inspired Los Santos, the largest in-game world ever created by Rockstar, on full display. Although Rockstar has yet to reveal whether or not the latest installment in its storied franchise will come to the next-generation consoles, GTA V is currently slated for a September 17th release for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. From acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro comes this new trailer for his upcoming film Pacific Rim. Originally intended just for WonderCon audiences, the trailer gives fans a closer look at some of monsters that the protagonists face as well as a little bit more on the backstory. A mix of classic monster movie elements — think Godzilla — as well as more modern franchises such as Iron Man, Pacific Rim should be a hell of a ride when it hits theaters this summer. Enjoy.

Surely this generation looks back fondly on the summer of 2001, whence audiences were first introduced to Dominic Toretto and his band of street-racing outlaws, not to mention his lovely sister Mia, launching a film series called The Fast and The Furious. Since then, the series has taken us to Tokyo and back, under the hoods of countless modified imports, and has blessed us with endless entertainment per a spot-stealing Tyrese performance. The latest installment of the series – Fast & Furious 6 – finds Dom, Brian, and the rest of the gang reprising their roles to hunt down an international terrorist, using hot rods, explosions, and street smarts to save the family ties at risk. The first official trailer for the upcoming film Thor: The Dark World trailer has been unveiled, giving fans a fresh glimpse into the eagerly anticipated follow-up. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprise their roles as Thor and Jane Foster respectively while newcomer Christopher Eccleston stars as the new villain. From the trailer, it would appear that Asgard, the home of the gods, will be featured more heavily. Also making a return is Loki, who strikes up an uneasy alliance with Thor. The upcoming Superman flick Man of Steel has received a brand new trailer that sheds some light on Superman’s background. Featuring Russel Crowe as an infant Superman’s father, the trailer shows the heart wrenching moment when the superhero’s parents much send him off or rick being annihilated. Further capitalizing on the popularity of undead-themed maps (this is the fifteenth one so far), the Mob of the Dead map will soon release as part of the Uprising downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Taking place on Alcatraz Island, the back story involves four mobsters trapped inside the infamous prison to fend for themselves against hordes of reanimated guards and inmates, as well as a new boss zombie named Brutus. No stranger to mobster movies — starring actors Chazz Palminteri, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen, and Ray Liotta — the four certainly have their work cut out for them in this genre mash-up. Mob of the Dead will first arrive on Xbox LIVE on April 16th, with ports to other platforms soon to follow.

Starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, Elysium is set in a polarized world where the rich reside in a luxurious and heavily guarded space station while the poor suffer on Earth. Ahead of this summer’s highly anticipated release comes the latest trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. While the literary classic needs no introduction, the latest look at the film is especially notable as it provides a preview of the film’s soundtrack and includes snippets of new tracks by Beyoncé, André 3000, Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine. Besides the aforementioned artists, it has also been rumored that Jay-Z will contribute an original tune for the new flick. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role alongside Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke, the 2013 film adaptation of the great American novel is set to hit theaters on May 10th.
