Dining: Palm Beach’s Food & Wine Festival

Several world-famous chefs will convene to host a series of dinners at this year’s Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival being held from December 7 to 11 at the city’s hot spots, including the Breakers resort, the Four Seasons Palm Beach, and others. Chef Daniel Boulud will host the opening reception at his Café Boulud Palm Beach restaurant ($100 per person). Design: Bonaire House by Silberstein Architect

The aptly named Bonaire House is an architectural feat created by Florida-based Silberstein Architecture. Situated on the Caribbean island of Bonaire, the two-story house comprises lofty and spacious rooms which boasts full-scale windows and a clean simplistic design, as well as open outdoor communal areas, a swimming pool, and open planning within its interior that even includes a second floor walkway bridge. Travel: The Caribbean Food & Wine Festival

Most people travel to Turks and Caicos to soak in the sun, but come November, the islands’ main draw will be their cuisine, when Grace Bay Club hosts the second annual Caribbean Food & Wine Festival—a three-day immersion into Caribbean cuisine and culture. Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore has unveiled two one-bedroom suites that were designed to blend in with their natural surroundings—trees. Appropriately named the Tree Top Lofts, the two intimate properties, which opened in July, stand 23 and 40 feet above ground, overlooking Mount Faber to the north and the forests of Sentosa to the south.
