Disco's making a comeback? Yes, according to the Alexandre Vauthier collection during Paris Couture Fashion Week. Nowfashion.com said a front row attendee called the collection "Charlie's Angel meets Studio 54," which is exactly how you would describe these powerful but sexy girls in their V-cut minidresses and gold jumpsuits. White, gold and beige, when not cut into a V down front, were dominated by lopping gold necklaces, wrapped collars, and gold or crystal beading. This collection is definitely for the nightlife partiers out there, but you could also see it on a red carpet or two. Enjoy.

Sit front row at the Givenchy’s Spring-Summer 2013 runway show. It was an ecclesiastical tour de force in a religion-inspired collection by enfant terrible designer, Riccardo Tisci. Incense wafted from the sidelines and organ music set the scene in a show that played with the layers of priestly garb. Givenchy unveiled on one of the many catwalks of Paris Fashion Week and our friends Fashionising.com was there to capture each look. Enjoy.

Full steam ahead with this show... A brilliant move to include porters, who kill at least two birds with one stone by associating the brand with the very wealthy while also shining on a light on the bags as noteworthy in and of themselves. It’s an interesting move because it seemed with the Spring 2012 collection, Louis Vuitton fianally was making some headway with its fashion, gaining magazine editorial and yet it’s possible that shift created its own set of problems. Attention, after all, must be paid to the bread and butter. Enjoy.

Following plenty of hype, anticipation and overall curiosity, Kanye West made his official debut as a designer during Paris Fashion Week.

Presenting his Dw by Kanye West line, the Grammy Award-winning musician seemed excited yet surely nervous about his first foray into women’s fashion. Vulnerable and open to criticism, the talented Mr. West headed a project that, from all accounts, featured plenty of insight and design cues from a collective of notable fashion heads.
