Videos: Kanye West Debuts "New Slaves"
For Kanye West, presentation is everything and on Friday night, rap's reigning mad scientist conjured up a revolutionary way to premiere his New Slaves music video. Instead of YouTube or MTV, Yeezy projected his latest clip on the sides of buildings in 66 locations around the world, giving fans little forewarning before the first premiere. He posted the viewing times and locations on his KanyeWest.com site and about 100 fans answered the call and gathered on the corner of 14th Street and 10th Avenue in New York City's Meatpacking District as many as 30 minutes before the scheduled 11:45pm showing. Videos: Classic Beef Meatball ‘Hero’ Sandwich
Hypebeast Eats takes us to the city of New York for a simple yet delectable dish — the Classic Beef Meatball Hero Sandwich by the one and only Meatball Shop NYC. Joined by Daniel Holzman and Michael Chernow, the two high school friends explain how they set out to differentiate themselves from the sea of pizza, shawarma and burger joints in the bustling city. What started out as the two selling meatballs from a building’s side window has now spawned four restaurants (soon to be five), which roughly amounts to 6,000 meatballs on the daily. Be warned though, this video is best not viewed on an empty stomach. Enjoy.

Videos: Outasight "I’ll Drink to That"
Outasight might’ve come up a bit over the past year or two, but the blue-collar spirit is alive and well in the video for his cheers-inducing I’ll Drink To That. Taking the chivalrous theme from his Nights Like These single and visually giving it life, this video does a nice job bringing the most out of OU’s crossover-ready hit and setting it up to make even more money on the commercial circuit. News: Chicago's Murder Rate Outpacing 2012

While Chicago's 500 homicides in 2012 are a drop off from previous years, the figure is still startling and unfortunate. Eight days into 2013, things are not looking much brighter for the windy city, as NBC Chicago has reported that 13 homicides were reported in the first six days of the new year. Should that pace sustain for the remainder of the year, the city would have its highest murder total since 1997. [Read More]
