Sports: NFL Coach Sells Car To A Cafe Worker For $20
Ray Horton is definitely one of the NFL's good guys. While serving as the Steelers' secondary coach for the last few years, Horton developed a friendship with a cafeteria worker named Maurice Matthews, who always asked the coach when he'd be allowed to drive his prized 1999 Mercedes-Benz SL500. "You can't afford the gas in it," Horton used to tell him. [Read More]

Sports: Wale Hates 'McNabb' Trade

What's wrong, Wale? You don't think John Beck—who was turned away from the Redskins' team facility on Monday when a security guard didn't know who he was—can lead your squad to the Super Bowl?
Ha! You're probably right. And after trading away two picks last year to get McNabb, the 'Skins are getting robbed if they trade him to the Vikings today for a sixth-round draft pick. So you're right to shoot off angry tweets, like the one below, about the team. But, isn't this what you fools asked for when you hired head coach Mike Shanahan to run thing? SMH. Lesson learned: Be careful what you wish for!

News: NFL Player Gets Handcuffed By Britney Spears

Kenny Britt has spent the majority of the last year in handcuffs. In April, he was arrested after leading police on a car chase in New Jersey. He was booked in N.J. again in June for resisting arrest after he was suspected of smoking weed at a carwash (uhhhh?). And, recently, he got sued for his role in a bar fight that took place in Nashville last October. So, yeah, it's been a crazy year for Britt.
But his latest incident involving handcuffs is actually a good one. During a stop in Nashville on her "Femme Fatale" tour on Monday night, Britney Spears brought Britt on stage. She then handcuffed him to a pole, wrapped him in pink feathers, and threw her legs over his head. And while we're not 100 percent positive about this—we're pretty sure that's a little bit different than the treatment he got when he got cuffed in Jersey. Just sayin'.

Sports: Cowboys WR Roy Williams Is Suing Former Miss Texas Brooke Daniels For An Engagement Ring

I’m trying to decide if I think a marriage proposal by mail is incredibly sweet or just plain dumb. I guess the key to that answer is it depends on if I was accepting the ring correct?
Cowboys WR Roy Williams (not to be confused with former Cowboy/current Bengal Safety, Roy Williams) has filed a lawsuit against the 2009 Miss Texas USA, Brooke Daniels to retrieve the ring he sent to her when he proposed via mail shortly before Valentine’s day this year. [Read More]

Sports: High-End Cars Trigger Police Raid of Chris Johnson's Home

Tennessee Titans player Chris Johnson recently got a visit from the Five-O, an encounter he attributes to being "Young, black and rich." According to TMZ, Orlando, FL. police got a non-specific tip about "high end cars" entering and exiting Johnson's condo community. After paying the running back a visit, officers reportedly found Johnson to be "cooperative and cordial" and more importantly, not up to anything even remotely illegal. In fact, the NFL player was busy filming a television show.
After police left, Johnson did what any modern day celebrity would do in such a situation—he hit twitter, asking "Y did the police just walk in my condo saying they think it's drug activity because it's alot of traffic but it was the MTV camera crew." He soon followed up with "Hard being young, black and rich."

Sports: Cam Newton Wants Jimmy Clausen's Jersey Number

Cam Newton is wasting no time causing a stir in Carolina. Just a few days after getting drafted No. 1 by the Panthers, he revealed that he'd actually prefer to be No. 2 this season. As in, he wants the No. 2 to be his jersey number. Only one problem: Cam's only competition, fellow quarterback/2010 NFL Draft pick Jimmy Clausen, already called dibs on it last year. *sounds the alarm*
"It's mine right now," Clausen said recently, shortly after being told that Newton wants to wear the same number in the NFL as he did at Auburn last year. "We'll see what happens." Sooooo....what's it worth to you, Cam?
