The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG boasts a 2 liter turbo charged engine capable of generating 360 hp that will do nought to 60 in 4.5 seconds, tailing off at 155 mph. A sporty five door hatchback, it incorporates the A-Class' suspension and steering systems and funky black wheels with contrasting red brake calipers. Kudos Mercedes. Again.

Having unveiled the sedan and wagon versions of the automobile, Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the upcoming 2014 E-Class Coupe. Receiving a modest facelift over the previous 2013 model while sporting a streamlined exterior and maintaining its signature wide rear haunches, the two-door will be available in two different iterations – the E350 and the E550s. Under the hood, the E350 features a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 302 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque while the more powerful E550s boasts a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of 402-horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes-Benz has just released this short clip titled Desire and featuring the marque’s SLS AMG alongside actor Dougray Scott. Aptly titled, the Antony Hofman-directed clip shows Scott roaming the dark city streets of Los Angeles while engaged in an internal monologue about desire; As he finishes up his monologue, a stunning SLS AMG drives past to which he remarks “desire is something you can’t control.” Truer words have never been spoken. As if the images were not stunning enough, Mercedes-Benz AMG goes on to tease us with an HD video of the acclaimed SLS Black Series Coupe. Traits from the track-ready Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS GT3 are apparent throughout — most noticeable in the car’s aerodynamics. Able to reach a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.6 seconds, the AMG-tuned car is also equipped with a rear-axle locking differential, a DCT seven-speed transmission and ceramic composite brakes — if you watch closely, you can even see an orange glow from the light-alloy forged wheels as the large calipers lay some stopping power down on the beefy disc rotors. This is ridiculous. Formula 1 legend David Coulthard and pro-golfer Jake Shepherd set a new world record – farthest golf shot caught in a moving car – with the help of the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Roadster. David caught the ball with his car after it traveled 275 meters off the tee. Pretty impressive. Enjoy.

To the delight of Car & Driver's editors, the magazine recently had nine new Mercedes-Benz AMG cars at its disposal – actually, just before this video, there were 11 models at the magazine's Ann Arbor headquarters, but the publication said that two press cars had to be returned to the automaker. Well, the magazine crew came up with the idea of strapping a few cameras on the cars and driving them all together in downtown Detroit for a run through the tunnels. Enjoy.
