Steve Kerr introduces LeBron James as the cover boy for NBA 2K14 video game from 2K Sports. The game is destined for an October 1st release on PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, with hints at a future release on PS4 and Xbox One as well. Those who pre-order the title will also get free access to a King James Bonus Pack which contains exclusive content including LeBron James in a yet to be revealed capacity, 10,000 VC points to be spent in game, extra content for the all-new Path to Greatness mode, the ability to play as James in Blacktop mode, and an all-new Signature Skill.

It’s clear that LeBron James has had a decorated history as a player, as underlined by his latest award: the 2012-2013 Most Valuable Player award – immortalized by Nike in the form of a crazy pair of King James’ signature kicks. The trophy is his fourth in five years, a feat only accomplished by Bill Russell in his day. The hype surrounding James is in many ways warranted, yet it seems that for as long as the 28-year-old has been in the league, he’s had just as many critics as he has accolades. The NBA has released a video retrospective of James’ career thus far, which gives viewers a somewhat complete look at the road the young player has paved for himself – a road undoubtedly deserving of respect.

Talk about adding insult to injury. Earlier this week, LeBron James was asked about the crazy dunk that he threw down over Jason Terry the other night. And, he came right out and admitted that he was glad that Jet was on the receiving end of his vicious dunk. "I've had a chance to [review] it and it was one of my better ones," he said.
