Video: Dressing James Bond in Tom Ford
What does it take to dress James Bond every morning? How about a full closet of custom Tom Ford shirts and suits? In this behind-the-scenes video from the making of the forthcoming film SKYFALL, we’re introduced to costume designer Jany Temime who talks about the challenges of dressing Daniel Craig as he takes on the new film in the lore of Ian Fleming’s most famous super-spy. Working with a character as iconic as 007 presents Temime with the unique challenge of keeping him perfectly dressed, without inhibiting Craig’s ability to perform the highly physical nature of his stunts. Thusly, Tom Ford was the perfect fit (quite literally) for the character, as Ford’s suits fit very close to, and move with the wearer, while maintaining their classically tailored and modern shape. SKYFALL lands in theaters this October. Enjoy.
