Sneakers: Air Jordan 1 “Gucci”

Jordan Brand presents the Gucci colorway of its classic Air Jordan 1. Borrowing the luxury brand’s color combo, the upper pairs textured black leather on most of the upper with smooth turquoise leather on the ankle, heel and toe. Finished off with a red padded ankle closure, outsole and laces, the choice of texture and color gives the hi-top a very bold, almost reptilian quality. Other features of the kicks include a perforated toe section for air flow, white midsole and embossed red Air Jordan logo on the side. Those hoping to score a pair of these limited edition kicks need look no further than LIMITED EDT in Singapore when they drop December 10th. [See More]

Style: Nike Air Jordan IV “Black/Red”

One of Jordan Brand‘s most iconic models, the Air Jordan IV is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year and it’s doing so in style with the Black/Red colorway rounding out the releases for the IV’s this year. Aside from the new choice of material, the only obvious difference from the originals is the Jordan branding on the heel. This latest release is set to drop on November 23rd, Black Friday, at authorized Jordan accounts and the Nike online store. If you want to get your hands on a pair be prepared to act fast, the online store will begin selling the shoes at 8:00am EST with a retail price of $160 USD.

Sneakers: Air Jordan IX “Motorboat Jones”

Johnny Kilroy was a fictional character invented by Nike following Michael Jordan‘s abrupt retirement before the ’93-’94 NBA season. A superhero of sorts who endorsed the Air Jordan IX and even had his own Upper Deck trading card, the mysterious character helped to “replace” Jordan as the face for the new signature sneaker. To commemorate Kilroy and the other alter egos assumed by MJ during that season, Jordan Brand recently released the Air Jordan IX “Johnny Kilroy,” part of the “Kilroy Pack” of sneakers. Next in line, the Air Jordan IX “Motorboat Jones” will debut on December 1st featuring tonal red nubuck uppers along with a black outsole, lining, pull tab and laces. Stay tuned for more images and information on this new Air Jordan IX as they surface.
