Video: The Amazing Spider-Man (Trailer #2)
The Amazing Spider-Man isn’t a sequel to the Sam Raimi-directed series of films, but rather a reboot of sorts that explores the “untold story” of Spider-Man. In this new trailer, we get a glimpse of plenty of unseen footage that finds the titular hero (played by Andrew Garfield from The Social Network) struggling with the magnitude of his inner conflict, the might of his enemies, and finding out the truth about his parents. The film also stars Emma Stone (playing Peter Parker’s early girlfriend Gwen Stacy), along with Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Denis Leary and Rhys Ifans as Spider-Man’s nemesis, The Lizard. The Amazing Spider-Man is still slated for a July 3rd release. Enjoy.
