Just as Google announced the impending demise of Google Reader, it has announced a new application for those looking to organize all their notes and lists in one place. Called Google Keep, the new application lets you quickly jot down notes and add checklists and photos. In addition to written notes, Keep will also record and transcribe your voice notes. Best of all, your notes and recordings will stay synced across all your devices running Google Keep. Currently, Google Keep is only available from the Google Play store for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above. Enjoy.

From award-winning director Jeff Renfroe comes The Colony, a post-apocalyptic set in a world going through a new ice age. Starring Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton, the film revolves around Colony 7, a band of survivors led by Fishburne, as they try to regain contact with Colony 5 – the only other known group of survivors. What they soon discover is that it’s not just humans who survived the apocalypse, as they try to survive the threat of flesh-eating foes.
