France’s Diptyque introduces a brand new design for housing its long range of fragrances. Designed in collaboration with R’Pure Studio, the diffuser comes in the shape of a unique hourglass enclosure deemed LE SABLIER and works by inverting the glass so that the stored fragrance is able to pass through the joining core and escape through the circled openings in the center. What does not get absorbed by the special core is simply gravity-fed back into the resting chamber — only to be turned over again as the scent fades out. Coming pre-filled with the brand’s “34 Boulevard Saint Germain” scent, the diffuser is set to release on September 12th for a price of ¥15,750 JPY (approximately $200 USD).

As anyone with tattoos can probably attest to, the first few days after getting fresh work done is crucial to ensuring the ink’s canvas heals properly. But for the rest of the life of the tattoo, style and skincare specialists A Beautiful Life have created Fresh Ink — a moisturizer designed for regular application to enhance the color and life of the tattoo. The cream contains natural botanical humectants which protect your skin by helping it resist dryness and retain water, while the other half of the patented formula contains antioxidants which enhance the appearance of your tattoo. For around $20 USD, you can pick up a bottle of Fresh Ink at select boutiques and tattoo parlors, and online.

Brooklyn is a legendary city within a city, home to a century or more of strivers, dreamers, and Nobel laureates, is reinventing itself, neighborhood by neighborhood, as an edgy metropolis. Brooklyn Cologne by Bond No. 9 ($220 for 100ml, $145 for 50ml) the scent is romantic, sexy, and distinctive—built in a very contemporary way to display its entire composition, rather than individual notes. For those who want us to name names, it’s officially a woody, spicy-filled oriental that mingles cardamom, geranium leaves, and cedarwood while grapefruit and juniper leaves accelerate the scent, and South American guaiacwood and leather bring a tender, beckoning touch. Purchase your bottle today.

We recently received a sample package of Spencer & Devon Shaving Cream ($27) and we've been using it for about a month now. The verdict, we love it. There are three versions of the cream: Unscented (and hypoallergenic), Spice, and Sagebrush. Sagebrush our my favorite scent, it’s described as “sage, cedarwood and pine needle essential oils” and the “woody” notes are fabulous and will definitely make you standout around the ladies. Spencer & Devon is also great for your skin with shea butter, aloe vera and botanical extracts as the main ingredients. [See More]

“Wear your sunscreen every day” is a mantra we’ll never get sick of repeating. A small dose of the sun’s vitamin D-infused rays is acceptable, but prolonged contact brings skin cancer, sun spots, and wrinkles. With SPF 30 as the most-advised minimum—it blocks 97% of UVB rays—sun protection is now more important than ever. Most of us are aware of how vital SPF is, but so many have no idea that application is just as important as dosage. The sad news: The vast majority of people greatly under-apply sunscreen, which exponentially decreases its protective powers. [Read More]
