Over the seven years, we watched as Rihanna went from a wholesome good girl, singing Reggae-inspired tunes in beach-like setting in her music videos, to a badass, thug-life repping, ganja smoking rockstar, all while trying to avoid obligations of being a role model to young fans. Rihanna makes it very clear that she wants to enjoy her success but she also wants to live her life without being under the constraints of ‘being good’ for the sake of setting an example.
