While the European version tucks the galley down below, the American version positions the galley on the open-layout main deck. Guests can enter from the fully opening aft-deck door and see straight through the cockpit’s front windshield. Along the way is the kitchen and dining area, followed by the main salon and cockpit. Ample windows, light wood, and sleek Italian style make this space light and bright and welcoming.
Below decks, clients have the choice of a three- or four-cabin layout, all with ensuite bathrooms. In both layout options, the master stateroom sits amidships. Sunseekers will appreciate the sun and cocktail area on the Portuguese bridge and fly deck, while a retractable sunroof on the flybridge allows for piloting under shade or sun. The aft deck offers up dining and lounging space in mixed sun and shade, and a swim platform at water level provides access to sun, swimming, and water sports.
Clients have a choice of two engine packages, either a pair of MAN V8-1200s with ZF Pods or a couple of MAN V12-1400 V-Drives. Top speed is 31 knots and cruising speed is 26. (www.montecarloyachts.it)
