Tech: Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

The Blackmagic Cinema Camera was a near-instant hit with budding movie-makers — but its size meant that it wasn't exactly a grab-n-go solution. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera ($1,000 USD) is. This pocket-friendly video recorder features a Super 16mm-sized, 1080p-capable sensor with an impressive 13 stops of dynamic range, an SD slot for expandable storage, and compatibility with Micro Four Thirds lenses. The big deal, however, is the ability to record in Apple ProRes or lossless CinemaDNG RAW formats, capturing far more detail than you'd get from your standard video-capable pocket cam. Coming to a shoot near you in July.

Videos: The Great Gatsby (Trailer)
Ahead of this summer’s highly anticipated release comes the latest trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. While the literary classic needs no introduction, the latest look at the film is especially notable as it provides a preview of the film’s soundtrack and includes snippets of new tracks by Beyoncé, André 3000, Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine. Besides the aforementioned artists, it has also been rumored that Jay-Z will contribute an original tune for the new flick. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role alongside Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke, the 2013 film adaptation of the great American novel is set to hit theaters on May 10th.

Videos: Nicki Minaj "Pink Pill Commercial" BTS
Nicki Minaj is going to be in a commercial for a pink speaker in conjunction with the Beats by Dre brand, called the Pink Pill, probably because it looks like one. Hopefully, the Pill gets as loud as your favorite rapper's favorite substance so that Peter Rosenberg can blast "Starships" at the volume that he truly desires. The commercial appears to also feature Deray Davis, who you may recall from the "Through the Wire" music video (where he raps "without an arm I spit!"), MTV's Wild 'N Out, or either of the Barbershop films. If you never get tired of Nicki's accents, this video is for you. Enjoy.

These ingenious add-ons are made from a flexible compression-molded rubber and are designed to slip over your existing cleats, providing safety for you and protection for carpets, floors, and nearby eardrums.
