Sneakers: SUPRA Chimera By Lil Wayne

Rapper Lil Wayne and SUPRA team up to produce the Chimera, a fitting name to say the least. What the shoe doesn’t say with its relatively simple colorway choices it makes up for big time with its shape. The shoe features a super-sized heel and midsole panel as well as a hefty padded tongue. Adding to the hodgepodge implications of its namesake is the variety of materials used across different colorways. For example, the tonal black edition uses mostly synthetic materials while the grey edition incorporates suede onto its side panels. By far the sleekest of the three, the white and pink edition uses a combination of smooth and pebbled leather. For a closer look at the Chimera and its different styles, check out Sneaker Freaker’s Issue 27 here.

News: Insiders Confirm Lil Wayne Health Scare

So, the most important thing is that, as Birdman, Mack Maine and others have confirmed, Lil Wayne is doing “fine.” But honestly, before you dismiss the TMZ story (which is still up, interestingly enough) as complete lies. I’ve had more than one insider confirm that Wayne did suffer another round of seizures, serious ones, at that. And while he’s conscious, he’s not feeling dandy like nothing happened. He’s in the hospital for the second time in three days. This man is clearly having a health crisis. And an intervention seems like a crucial step…Yes. Intervention. [See & Read More]

Gossip: Charlamagne Ethers Lil Wayne

It all started last Sunday when Lil Wayne was reportedly kicked out of a Miami Heat home game vs. the Los Angeles Lakers for rooting for his out of town squad (The Heat say this is untrue). Weezy went off on Twitter and made it public that he had no love for the team that houses stars like Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Well, now it seems that the die-hard sports fanatic has been banned from all NBA games and events. Last night, at an All Star after party in Houston, Weezy went off the NBA and Miami Heat. He claims the Heat had a hand in his ban. He cursed out the team’s star players and even said he had extramarital affairs with Chris Bosh’s wife. Of course, his words weren’t as nice. So of course our friend Charlamagne Tha God gave him Donkey Of The Day on Power 106 -- listen to both audio clips after the jump. [Hear More]

Gossip: Lil Wayne Kicked Out Of Heat Game

Perhaps Lil Wayne should just stay away from NBA basketball games. This past summer, the New Orleans rapper accused the Oklahoma City Thunder of racism after being denied free courtside seats. Apparently, Wayne was kicked out of today's Miami Heat game for "rootin 4 da Lakers." It's unclear exactly why the police would ask Wayne to leave. [See More]
