It’s clear that LeBron James has had a decorated history as a player, as underlined by his latest award: the 2012-2013 Most Valuable Player award – immortalized by Nike in the form of a crazy pair of King James’ signature kicks. The trophy is his fourth in five years, a feat only accomplished by Bill Russell in his day. The hype surrounding James is in many ways warranted, yet it seems that for as long as the 28-year-old has been in the league, he’s had just as many critics as he has accolades. The NBA has released a video retrospective of James’ career thus far, which gives viewers a somewhat complete look at the road the young player has paved for himself – a road undoubtedly deserving of respect.

The Association compiled their top 10 choices for Dunks Of The Year, nine of which we’re covered around these parts in some fashion. So what do you think? Did they get this right? Did they leave anything out? Personally, I’m just glad they gave Terrence Ross some love. Proven by his dunk contest victory this year, he’s going to be one of the special dunkers we’ve got in the league for the next six-to-eight years. Enjoy.

Dwyane Wade isn't around to throw alley-oops to LeBron James right now. But, don't worry: LBJ clearly has it covered. Take your time, D-Wade. King James will be just fine without you. The best part about this play is definitely Heat color commentator Tony Fiorentino wondering why he didn't get an assist or a rebound for the play. I don't think it works like that but I'll have to ask Ricky Davis for confirmation. Enjoy.

Got tix to go see the Knicks play the Heat in Miami tonight? Good for you. GO SCALP THEM NOW! For the second straight game, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade (and Mario Chalmers, too!) will ride the pine for the Heat because of "minor nicks." The superstars, who both sat out of Sunday's Heat game against the Spurs and got killed for it in the media, are dealing with nagging injuries right now that will prevent them from suiting up. But, Heat coach Erik Spolestra doesn't sound too worried. [Read More]

Talk about adding insult to injury. Earlier this week, LeBron James was asked about the crazy dunk that he threw down over Jason Terry the other night. And, he came right out and admitted that he was glad that Jet was on the receiving end of his vicious dunk. "I've had a chance to [review] it and it was one of my better ones," he said. "The fact that it happened to J.T. made it that much sweeter. Because we all know J.T. and he talks too much sometimes… I'm glad it happened to him." Damn, Bron. Way to throw dirt on the guy's grave. In anticipation of 2013′s Easter Sunday on March 31, Nike Basketball has unveiled its collection of Easter-inspired footwear for flagship athletes LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. Opting for pastel colorways and taking cues from the Easter tradition of dyeing and decorating eggs, the collection marks the debut of King James’s new LeBron X Low – a low-top iteration of the reigning MVP’s 10th anniversary signature complete with a Hyperfuse upper, exposed Dynamic Flywire, a 360 Max Air unit, and included here in a predominately mint green makeup. Harlem Shake overkill? Probably, but don’t tell that to the Miami Heat. Earlier tonight, Lebron James unveiled his team’s remix video for Bauuer’s number 1 hit. Shoot, even Diddy said he supports the new dance craze, so before you start complaining about being sick of this, insert your own Bosh & Lebron jokes here. Then, press play and laugh with us. Enjoy.
