News: Apple Manufacturing Back In The U.S.

Apple will move production of one of its existing Mac lines to the US next year. In an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that Apple has "been working on this for a long time," and "it will happen 2013." In a separate interview with NBC's Rock Center, Cook told interviewer Brian Williams that Apple can't move all of its manufacturing to the US: "it's not so much about price, it's about the skills." President Obama delivered his first State of the Union speech of the year Tuesday night, and he pretty much pointed out his accomplishments thus far.
He also initiated proposals to further boost the economy, jobs creation and advocated for policies that would create a level playing field, which would benefit American companies. Wellness: Long Hours At Work May Boost Heart-Attack Risk

While you may consider yourself lucky to be working long hours -- or working at all -- in the current economy, your diligence may be undermining your health in the long run.People who work an average of 11 or more hours per day have a 67 percent higher risk of suffering a heart attack or dying from heart disease than people who work a standard seven- to eight-hour day, according to a new study in the Annals of Internal Medicine. Those who work between 10 and 11 hours per day have a 45 percent higher risk.Work schedules may be an overlooked and underutilized early warning sign for heart disease, the researchers say.
