Films: The Dark Knight Rises Explained

The Dark Knight Rises doesn’t toss out as many wild theories as Prometheus, which we had a lot of questions about last month, and doesn’t leave nearly as much to the imagination as Inception, which we spent months discussing back in 2010. But a lot of us still walked out of The Dark Knight Rises unclear on how a few things went down, and going over our questions together, we figured we’d bring the conversation to the group. So, before we get started, and it should go without saying -- Spoilers for the movie, you have been warned. [See & Read More]

Videos: The Evolution Of The Batmobile
One of the most exciting parts of Batman besides him beating up all the villains in Gotham City is his Batmobile. The car has evolved throughout the life of Batman from a speedy, gadget-filled automobile into a brutally powerful tank-like machine capable of blasting through concrete walls and running over cars. With the release of the new Batman movie, Dark Knight Rises Warner Brothers has created and released a documentary on the history and evolution of the Batmobile. The full-length documentary will be available on Blu-Ray and digital download for the 2012 Holiday shopping season. Enjoy.

News: 14 Dead After Mass Movie Shooting

A gunman opened fire early Friday at a Colorado movie theater on the opening night of the latest Batman movie, killing 14 people and injuring at least 50 others, authorities said. Rides: Bruce Wayne's New Lamborghini Aventador

Despite what you might think, it's actually quite difficult to snag pictures or videos during filming of a big blockbuster like the next Batman flick called the Dark Knight Rises, as studios hire people simply to obstruct the view of anyone trying to capture the moment on camera.
Nevertheless, VW Vortex member VadGTi overcame these problems and was able to take a few good shots of Bruce Wayne's new rich-boy toy, the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, which replaces the Murcielago seen in the previous installments of the Dark Knight franchise. [See More]

Video: "The Dark Knight Rises" (Trailer)
Here's some irony: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2," took down "The Dark Knight" for the biggest opening weekend in box office history, but before that film could play in theaters, moviegoers were treated to the first trailer for the next Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises," as if to say, don't worry, the caped crusader will be back.
Christian Bale is in his final film as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and this time around, in addition to Oldman as Gordon, he has Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a new ally in the Gotham Police Department. Whether friend or ally, Anne Hathaway will play Selena Kyle/Catwoman, while Marion Cotillard should be on the friendly side as Miranda Tate, a Wayne Enterprises employee.
