A Breakdown of ‘Mission: Impossible’ Stunts

When the latest installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise hits theaters this Friday, it will hold the distinction of being the first film to feature Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt in every single frame of the film – implying that Cruise was able to handle all of the stunts on his own.

While Rogue Nation is ratcheting up the action even further – with Cruise being attached to an airplane as it takes off and completing a six-minute underwater sequence – a further exploration of all the films in the franchise reveal that Cruise has always been willing to lay his body on the line to get the shot.
